7PREVIEW

The Aston 7PREVIEW is much more than your traditional graphics preview channel.

The hardware configuration is flexible to suit either a small scale facility that finds SVGA quality acceptable, or a large scale broadcaster, that demands SD/HD quality output.

The graphics operator now has the option of choosing exactly what graphics the studio gallery will see in preview. Each element within Aston 7EDIT can easily be told how and where it should appear on either 7EDIT, 7PREVIEW and 7TX.

If there is a specific graphic the gallery needs to see in preview, like a ticker, the operator can take it to the 7PREVIEW channel already animating, showing the correct data. Once approved, the operator can then take the graphics to 7TX (program output), holding it off screen untill the director needs it.

In a world where content providers are held accountable and can be heavily fined for broadcasting incorrect information (phone numbers, web or billing details), having the reassurance of being able to single out that one specific element from the rest of the background graphics is a must have feature.
